Goals/Objectives:

BANSTAND (BS) needed to accept credit card orders through their website. Live Internet credit card capturing was required by the client in order to simplify their order-fulfillment process.

Special Needs:

BS needed their website order-taking system to work seamlessly with an online credit card processing company. The order form also needed to properly calculate order total, shipping fees, and taxes.

Process:
|
Webmaster, Inc. subcontracted this job through a third-party development company. The third-party defined the scope of the project and provided Webmaster, Inc. with an overview of the requirements. Webmaster, Inc. created a functional form that handled all of the required elements except for charge processing. Once the client signed off on the form, Webmaster, Inc. implemented online charge processing and tested the system thoroughly. BS reviewed the form for errors and changes. Finally, SSL was implemented and the site went "live".
