Goals/Objectives:

Bramer Animal Hospital (BAH) is a veterinary clinic located in Evanston, IL. BAH had a single-page advertisement-like presence on the Web and wished to build a new, more comprehensive site that would provide helpful and current pet care information to current and potential customers. BAH also wished to notify customers of updates via an opt-in email newsletter.

Special Needs:
|
BAH requested training in order to manage email lists and send out newsletters. Additionally, BAH wanted the ability to maintain their own site, so the site was imported (upon completion) into FrontPage 2000 and BAH principles were trained in its use as well.

Process:
|
Webmaster, Inc. met with BAH principles to define the scope of the website, the various sections, and the underlying function of each section. Once the general structure of the website was determined, BAH provided their company logo and text for each section. Webmaster, Inc. then developed a mockup of the design for approval. When the design was agreed to, Webmaster, Inc. integrated the text and functionality into the design. BAH reviewed the site for errors and changes. The site was then uploaded to the web server and search optimization operations were performed.

- Custom graphics, rollover menu buttons, and an easy-to-use interface make the site visually interesting and simple to navigate.
- BAH maintains all site content via FrontPage 2000.
- A mailing list sign-up form makes it easy for visitors to opt-in to receive the BAH email newsletter.

Ongoing Requirements:
|
Webmaster, Inc. provides continued support for the website and periodically creates new graphics or templates. Additionally, BAH has a searchable document database of Pet Care Tips that has not yet been implemented (as of 03/01).
