Di Vinci Painters, Inc. (DPI) is a commercial and residential painting company located in Highland Park, IL. DPI did not have a presence on the Web and wished to build a site that would showcase their commercial and residential portfolios, as well as provide new channels for existing and future customers through which bids and other information could be obtained. DPI also wanted to obtain customer feedback regarding completed jobs through their website.

Special Needs:

DPI needed several forms to gather information through. DPI also required training and configuration assistance with Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer. DPI required Webmaster, Inc. to scan all portfolio images and re-key the majority of site text. Additionally, Webmaster, Inc. wrote the copy for several sections of the website based on interviews and conversations with the DPI principles.

Process:
|
Webmaster, Inc. met with DPI principles to define the scope of the website, the various sections, and the underlying function of each section. Once the general structure of the website was determined, DPI provided their company logo and a limited amount of text for each section. Webmaster, Inc. then developed several mockups of the design for approval. When a design was agreed to, Webmaster, Inc. integrated the text and functionality into the design. DPI reviewed the site for errors and changes. The site was then uploaded to the web server and search optimization operations were performed.

- Custom graphics, rollover menu buttons, and an easy-to-use interface make the site visually interesting and simple to navigate.
- There are several forms through which visitors can obtain job quotes and other information.
- A customer feedback form allows DPI customers to provide their thoughts and suggestions after a job is completed.
- DPI's online portfolio gives them the ability to send prospects to their website to see real and current examples of their work.

Webmaster, Inc. provides continued support for the website and periodically makes text changes, and creates new graphics or templates.
