Goals/Objectives:

NewHaven Software (NHS) came to Webmaster, Inc. looking for technical expertise and guidance. NHS wanted to expand the content and capabilities of their existing website to better serve their customer base as well as to market their product line.

Special Needs:
|
NHS also needed back-end tools to manage and maintain client relationships, as well as a way to present their legacy information on the site with the minimum possible expenditure.

Process:
|
Webmaster, Inc. met with NewHaven Software principles to define the scope of the website, the various sections, and the underlying function of each section. NHS supplied Webmaster, Inc. with large amounts of content and a ready-made site design.

Features:
|
- A password-protected file download area allowed only registered visitors to receive product updates and other key information.
- A custom back-end beta testing management tool allowed programmers, tech support, and the outside world to exchange information in a structured and organized fashion.
- Some forms throughout the site collected information and stored it in a database for reporting purposes.
- NHS purchased an SSL key in order to provide secure ordering services for their customers.
