What good is your website if no one knows about it? With each project we perform an intial search optimization and registration effort to make your site more findable. We can't guarantee you a listing in the search engines — no one can except the search engines themselves. But we can guarantee you that your site will be submitted by a human to the top search engines on the 'net!
Initial Site Review: Our team will thoroughly review your website and create a list of recommendations (if any) to make your site more search friendly, as well as suggested meta tag changes. Meta tags are hidden in the website source code and are read by search engines in order for them to better catalog Internet content. We'll also make recommendations based on the requirements/preferences of all the top search sites.
Position Analysis: Using up to 3 search terms of your selection, we will check the major Search Engines/Directories to see where your site is currently ranked. Then we'll be able to focus our submission efforts where they're needed most.
Meta Tag Creation/Page Edits: Webmaster, Inc. will use the keywords supplied by you in combination with any additional words determined during the initial analysis to create a list of keywords. We will alter page titles to be more descriptive and adjust any existing page content (text) as authorized.
Competitive Analysis: Webmaster, Inc. will review (with your input) your website and your competitors' websites, analyzing their approaches to Internet marketing. We'll examine the content, meta tags, and seeding efforts of each competitor and provide a comprehensive analysis of each. Using what we've learned from our analysis, we will provide recommendations for an effective search marketing campaign.
Free Search Engine/Directory Submission: We will submit your website to the most common search engines/directories which do not charge for listings.
Paid Yahoo! Listing ($299/year SE fee): The $299 is paid to Yahoo! on an annual basis and does not guarantee a listing.
Paid Inktomi Listing ($39/year SE fee): The $39 is paid to Inktomi on an annual basis and guarantees a listing, but not position.
Pay-Per-Click Engine Recommendations: If you're interested in listing at pay-per-click engines such as Overture and LookSmart, we'll research your field and keywords to determine the most cost-effective way for you to rank well in those engines. Once we have your approval, we'll set up your account and submit your site.
2nd Tier Manual SEO: We'll submit your site to popular free search engines and directories in the 2nd tier bracket, such as ComFind, ProNet, Starting Point, etc.
Doorway Page Creation: Webmaster, Inc. will select and modify 5 pages within your site, optimizing them for different search sites and/or specific sets of keywords. The urls for these specific pages are then submitted to the top search sites.
Site-Specific Submission: There are a wide range of niche search engines and directories for almost every field and market conceivable. We'll research your field and submit your website to the most appropriate sites. In cases where fees are required, we'll gather the information and make recommendations.
Alias Creation: Aliases are additional urls created for your web site. For example, if your original site domain name is www.bettyskitchen.com and your primary business is selling kitchenware, we create a page with the url: pots.pans.bettyskitchen.com. This url will rank better in many search engines because it contains vital keywords, yet you don't have to purchase an additional domain name.
Follow-Up Analysis: After 90 days, our team will follow-up with the search sites to which your site has been submitted and verify that your listing has been included. We will resubmit the site as required, and prepare a report for your review.
Automated Submission: Using specialized software, we'll submit your site to 200+ additional search engines/directories.
