Specification
When the initial consultation phase is complete, you should have a good idea of how your website is going to turn out. Now is the time for the technical and organizational specification, and that's where our expertise comes to bear.
We'll provide you with a specification outlining the decisions that, together, we've made along the way. This document will define the technologies that we'll use to accomplish the tasks ahead, it will outline the initial design choices we have made, and it will describe the structure and layout of your future website.
In many cases, this specification will be presented to you in proposal format and will provide an easy-to-read road map of the website development process. Each component will be clearly defined and associated with a cost.
Larger projects sometimes require a specification before project costs can be determined in these cases, we'll develop the specification for you as a separate project. Once the specification is completed, it belongs to you.
Read through the specification carefully. Make sure that it covers everything you are asking for, and confirm that it matches both your vision and your budget. Once satisfied, just sign the proposal and return it with your 50% down payment. We'll start work right away!
