Goals/Objectives:

Youth Organizations Umbrella, Inc. (YOU) is a not-for-profit organization based in Evanston, IL. YOU had no web presence and wished to build a simple informational website. It was important that the site be available in Spanish as well as English. YOU took advantage of Webmaster, Inc.'s First-Site-Done-Right package (no longer available) to build their custom website on a limited budget.

YOU required a Volunteer sign-up form. YOU also required that the site be available in Spanish.

Process:
|
Webmaster, Inc. met with YOU to define the scope of the website, the various sections, and the underlying function of each section. Once the general structure of the website was determined, Webmaster, Inc. recommended the First-Site-Done-Right package being offered at the time. YOU agreed, and provided their company logo, several photographs, and their brochure. Webmaster, Inc. then developed two different mockups of the design for review and approval. When a design was agreed to, Webmaster, Inc. integrated the text and functionality into the design. YOU reviewed the site for errors and changes. The site was then uploaded to the web server and search optimization operations were performed.

- Custom graphics, rollover menu buttons, and an easy-to-use interface make the site visually interesting and simple to navigate.
- A Volunteer Sign-Up form allows YOU to gather the information they need to begin working with a volunteer.
- A Spanish "mirror" of the site allows YOU to reach a wider audience.

Webmaster, Inc. provides continued support for the website and performs all textual and layout updates.
